We are affiliated with the Adult Sports & Culture Fund!

We strive to make sports and culture accessible to all residents of Municipality Moerdijk, regardless of financial background. This is why we have become intermediaries with the Adult Fund Sport & Culture. The fund reimburses tuition and/or required materials for adults who are in a financially vulnerable situation.

 How does the Adult Sports & Culture Fund work?

The Adult Sports & Culture Fund is an initiative created to remove financial barriers. Thus, they enable adults to enjoy sports and cultural activities. Thanks to the fund, adults living around the subsistence level, such as welfare recipients or people on low incomes, can participate in sports lessons and cultural programs without having to worry about the cost.

If you would like to take sports or cultural classes in your community, you can apply through an intermediary. This could be a debt relief worker, community sports coach or social worker, for example. The fund will make sure that you can pay the tuition and any necessary materials (if applicable) so that you can participate in our sports classes without any worries.

The role of the intermediary

Adults may not apply on their own; it must always be done through an intermediary. The intermediary has professional contact with potential participants (18+). The adult makes an appointment with the intermediary and discusses what activity they would like to participate in and fills out a form. The intermediary submits the application digitally to the Adult Fund. Once the application is approved, the Adult Fund pays the membership fee directly to the club or other provider. The adult can now participate in sports or culture.
