Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board (BoS) consists of 4 members. With their knowledge and experience, they oversee the management's policies and the general affairs of Sport en Welzijn Moerdijk. The composition of the RvT ensures that it has all the necessary expertise to advise and critically monitor the management. The Supervisory Board focuses on the social objectives of Sport en Welzijn Moerdijk and carefully weighs the needs and wishes of stakeholders and interested parties.
The SB consists of the following members:
André Timmerman
André is an independent senior consultant for management and operation issues around Social Facilities. Since Sept. 13, 2018, he has been appointed chairman of the Supervisory Board.
He is also chairman of the supervisory board for Sport en Welzijn Leidschendam-Voorburg and Sport en Welzijn Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. In addition to his work, he is chairman of Advies Keurmerk Veilig en Schoon's committee on swimming pools, an external member of the Westland City Council's accounting committee and chairman of Commissarissen van Sportbedrijf Amstelveen's council.
Janneke Oudenhoven
Janneke is director at Lokalis, the neighborhood team organization for Jeugd & Gezin in Utrecht. She has been appointed as a member of the supervisory board since October 2025. Within the supervisory board, she is a member of the remuneration committee. Janneke is also a member of the supervisory board for Sport en Welzijn Leidschendam-Voorburg , Sport en Welzijn Bodegraven-Reeuwijk and BSO Oog in Al.
Gert-Jan Schotanus
Gert-Jan Schotanus has been a member of the supervisory board since July 1, 2026. He is an alderman in the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn, with responsibilities including Sports & Recreation, Economic Affairs, and Energy Transition. He is also a member of the supervisory boards of Sport en Welzijn Leidschendam-Voorburg and Sport en Welzijn Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. In addition to his professional duties, he serves on the Board of Commissioners of Woerden Sport.
Paul Kleuver
Paul is an independent consultant. He has a commercial background in ICT and Telecom and in various managerial and supervisory roles. He was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board on October 10, 2019. Within the supervisory board, he is a member of the Audit Committee.
He is also a member of the Supervisory Board for Sport en Welzijn Leidschendam-Voorburg and Sport en Welzijn Bodegraven. He is also a board member of the foundation “Arkduif” (Bodegraven) and a member of the Supervisory Board at Rabobank Rijn and Veenstromen.
Remy de Wit
Remy de Wit has been a member of the supervisory board since July 1, 2026. He is an experienced executive and high-performance professional with a background in both education and elite sports. After more than eight years as technical director and member of the executive board of the KNSB, where he had overall responsibility for elite sports performance, strategy, finances, and personnel management across five elite sports disciplines (three of which are Olympic), he will be joining the Dutch Basketball Association (NBB) as High Performance Manager effective September 1, 2026. On the Supervisory Board, he serves on the Compensation Committee. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards for Sport en Welzijn Leidschendam-Voorburg and Sport en Welzijn Bodegraven.
