Discover a magical musical invention!

Come and see that! Come and see that! The famous inventor, Professor Hippolite, has invented something new again! Today is finally the big reveal. We have waited years for this and finally we, Leen and Lies, can reveal this miracle to you, the audience.

But... Where is Hippolite? And what is that big wooden box doing on stage? Could that be the invention? Would we have to wait a long time for that ... Hippolite? Couldn't we take a look? Just lift the sheet for a moment?

Secretly, Leen and Lies go to investigate, because otherwise such an opening is also just boring. And now, of course, there is an audience in the hall. Gradually the friends discover a special coffin. They let their imaginations run wild. The chest becomes a cave, a drum kit, a house, a magic box, a machine... Nothing is what it seems!

I see, I see what you don't hear.

And it's..... a sound?
It sounds wonderful, but what is it? And where does it come from?
How the unexpected can surprise you.
Six people take you through a game of sense. There they stand, shoulder to shoulder in a row. Waiting. Who dares to start?
Four musicians, two dancers and eight set pieces create their own world full of games that arise spontaneously. Without a word.
Combining the poetic dance style of Silence with live music played by musicians from Philzuid creates a magical performance that leaves room for imagination and your own interpretation. Even if nothing sounds, you hear music in your head fueled by seeing the dance and physical play.
Music by Theodore Dubois and Maurice Ravel, among others, breathes plenty of life into designer Floris Hovers' abstract scenery.

The secret of Ithaca by Groen &van Lien

In front of café Het Schippershuis sits Captain Flint. He has just returned from a long sea voyage. With a hefty haul of nutmeg in his pocket, he waits for his wife Enea. But she doesn't come. However, he does find a letter. Enea has been kidnapped... to Ithaca.

Determined to get her back, Captain Flint gathers his crew and sets sail for Ithaca. They brave sea monsters, storms and temptations, which only makes their friendship grow. Or is something brewing under the deck?

In this adventure, Groen & van Lien take on the pirate genre in their own way. Slightly inspired by Homer's Odyssey, but above all: a performance full of humor, surprise and spectacle.

Musical theater for anyone who dares to sound different.

Toetie is an ordinary quarter note in the neat village of Kwarterdam, where everyone sounds the same. Boring, Toetie thinks.

He sets out on an adventure and discovers a motley parade of musical figures: the busy eighth notes Rita and Lynn, the dramatic

crescendo Decibella, rest Serena and the swinging P. Kussie. With a key role for the wise soft G clef, the

musical performance showing the importance of working together and embracing differences.

With live music by composer and music educator Ivo Kouwenhoven and together with an occasional orchestra of

musicians from the community, they know how to touch every child with their connecting message.

Anne, 11, says sorry anyway

Intended for: Group 7-8

Theater company: Wildpark
Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Location De Standaert Standdaarbuiten

Max number of students 2x 150

Performance taken from life, about clashes, misunderstandings and the moments when you don't meer know how to come together.

“I don't think it's all that bad myself. I mean, no it wasn't super handy of me, ok? I admit, but it teeks toetoetengo. Das English. Means there are two sides to every story. So it depends on how you look at it. Yes! I did something bad, but for the record, I did it for a reason. No, action, reaction. I mean, it's easy to make me the bad guy. But who actually started this?”

Something happened. Anne has done something bad. Now her friend is in the hospital and Anne has to say sorry from her mother. Being a team with your bestie is, of course, the coolest thing in the world. Until you become disappointed in the other person. Or you feel betrayed. Or the other way around. Until you grow apart. Until you become diametrically opposed to each other, because you bestie suddenly turns out to be different from you and suddenly turns out to think very differently about things.Until one day you get so angry that you do something you cannot meer reverse. Not on purpose, it just happens.

‘Anne, 11 years old, says s?rry anyway’ is about friendship, but also about how easily we form an image about someone, and how difficult it is when that image is not meer accurate. How small cracks can grow into a rift. How sometimes you end up opposing each other without knowing exactly why.

But Sherlock loves riddles! He loves puzzles and his favorite books are the ones about the adventures of his namesake Sherlock Holmes. There is ?one person in the whole world who understands him like no other and that is his dear granny. They are very much alike. But when one day Grandma ‘’disappears,’’ Sherlock's life is completely turned upside down. Desperate, he plots a meticulous investigation, and soon a wonderful and educational adventure unfolds.

Sherlock is a musical, exciting performance that functions as a detective, a real whodunit. A story about the pleasure and magic of reading. About what it means to have a head like Sherlock (read: to be on the autistic spectrum).
